Screen Printing Hawaii

Screen printing is where a screen is stretched out in a frame. Each color requires a screen, the screen is mounted on a machine and the ink is squeegeed through on to the shirt. The screens are lined up so each color is printed in the correct location. This is economical if you have a one color print or if you have 50 pieces or more.

There’s a set-up fee for this process, these are charges for color separation and screens. The set-up fee is charged the same no matter the quantity of prints. The set-up fee includes mounting of all screens onto our machine and lining them up. This can get time consuming. There is a minimum of 50 pieces for this. Get a quote from us.

How to save money on screen printing.

  1. Choose white shirts, it doesn’t require a white ink underbase.

  2. Print more shirts, the pricing per print goes down at larger amounts.

  3. Choose a one color artwork. Less colors, less screens.

  4. Limit print locations. Each location doubles the printing time.

  5. Consider DTG (direct to garment printing}. No set-up fees.
